Job description

As a full stack developer, you will design, implement and maintain the stack of the web and mobile applications. You will research and implement new architectural patterns to modernize the Wingmate stack.

At Wingmate, you will lead a team of young professionals to build new features and offerings inside of the Wingmate application. Research new technologies to leverage at Wingmate to provide unique features for Wingmate's clients. You will work directly with the CTO to understand the goals and objectives of the business. You will engage with clients to learn their needs and requirements and build them into the Wingmate product.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of developers and designers to design, implement, test and deliver work within the associated timeline.
• Engage with stakeholders to design and implement new features.
• Be inquisitive and learn outside of your given work area.
• Investigate and implement new technologies and theories.
• Lead AGILE Scrum sprints with all members of the team.
• Support product management and business development functions as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Development, Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline.
• Great communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills.
• Passionate about business development.
• Experience using PostgreSQL and database design.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 2+ years of experience with Docker.

Nice to Haves

• Experience with Kubernetes or related systems.
• Unit, integration and E2E testing experience.
• Knowledge of UX design principles.
• Experience with business analytics and related softwares.
• Experience with non-relational databases.
• Experience developing with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience developing with node and Typescript.
• Experience with ReactJS.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $110,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
